There are
just so many divine beings who come into Nandhi's life
every day through their random acts of kindness, beauty
and senseless giving- Nandhi wishes to say a silent
praying from the heart to thank YOU all!
This page
was created as without the expression of gratitude,
there is a large void through the daily joys experienced
and this page in its little way serves to be the
profoundness of the journey in the West.

The first
gratitude goes to Nandhi's "Kali", Padmavathi.
When Nandhi and Padmavathi first met online, Nandhi was insisting that Padmavathi come to India. Padmavathi told Nandhi,
"Come to California and see if it inspires you and then decide where you might wish to live."
Six months later, on his first visit to US, Nandhi was in awe to see nearly everyone he met, aspiring to better
themselves inside out. He chose to settle in Santa Monica.
After settling
down in Santa Monica, Nandhi realized that he could not teach yoga and
support his family as teaching yoga meant having to promote himself. He had
to learn new skills and start afresh.
Padmavathi was patient with him.
She wanted him to go into his heart and learn skills that would give him
joy.
Padmavathi
kindled Nandhi to paint- buying him paint, art paper etc saying, "After you
meditate see if you like to paint". That manifested in the art at "Visions
Beyond Enlightenment". She got Nandhi
enrolled in a school to learn web designing and graphic arts. She helped
with the finer detailing of all of Nandhi's dream projects such as Turiya
Nada (music) and Sensitive Planet.
As the
Vision of
Ariven Community; the foundations to the Vision,
Sensitive
Planet; the yoga teachings of Turiya Yoga unfolds, Nandhi
expresses his heart's gratitude to his wife, Padmavathi!

Tapasyogi
Siddhar Baba Nataraj is a yogi who has been in solitude, meditating for over
45 years. Journeying beyond enlightenment to resonate in Oneness, he is the
epitome of a realized master in his sheer humility and love. Wild birds,
squirrels have no fear of him as they recognize his energy of Oneness.
Nandhi's
spiritual oasis while living in the West for so many years has been Siddhar Baba Nataraj and his
sacred home temple.
About two years after settling down in Santa Monica,
Nandhi felt he was missing the intense worship of Siva and especially the
company of spiritual masters.
One day, as Nandhi was having breakfast at Baja Fresh
and he heard an inner call to eat quickly and walk out of the restaurant.
Coming out of the restaurant, Nandhi felt drawn to a person at a
distance wearing saffron robes. He ran towards him and said, from behind ,
"Aum Namah Sivaya". Baba, without looking back said, "Aum Namah Sivaya! I
have been waiting for you. Come, lets go home". He took Nandhi into his
sacred sanctuary.
Since then, Baba's sacred place has been a refuge for
Nandhi and Baba's love has guided Nandhi even deeper.

Yoga
Acharya Ram, is one of the rare yoga Acharya (teacher to teachers) in Los Angeles who
incorporates spiritual essence into hatha yoga.
Nandhi was lucky to have found Ram to
advance his practice/ learn/ experience true yoga. Nandhi saw in Ram an
advanced yogi who taught yoga the way it should be taught- giving the
space for each to attain mastery in their own pace; by setting an example of
being the yogi; total dedication to the yogic practice rather than focus on
the celebrity status he could so easily have attained and most important- humility.
Nandhi
practiced/learnt/absorbed yoga (Sivananda style) under Ram for three years, rarely missing
any one of the weekly class, held on Friday.
Nandhi
highly recommends Ram for anyone searching for yoga in its most beautiful
form! |

As
we grow in a new country with the intense new
learning in each facet of life, we tend to some
times to get caught up by the mind. This mind
then is woken up to understand how big and
immense the Spirit is!
